Portraits & Lifestyle

A portrait should tell a story. It should say something about yourself, your loved one, your family, and your friends. Maybe it’s based on a day in the life of…or it could even be fantasy. How do you see your self being captured?

Scott Walter Photography can capture a portrait which you can cherish and share with your loved ones for many years to come and pass down to future generations.

I believe a portrait turns out the best when a relaxed and spontaneous relationship is established between the portrait photographer and the portrait subject. Whether your portraits are taken in our studio, in your home, or at some beautiful outdoor location, I work hard to ensure everyone enjoys the experience of taking an outstanding professional portrait.

All of my portrait sessions are done on location – at your place of business, home, a park, or other meeting place (if permitted). When choosing a location, you want to portray your individual style and identity. You are welcome to bring several changes of clothes, although you may be limited in places to change if we are not in your office or home. I encourage you to bring props – children may want to bring a favored toy, seniors may want to bring a letter jacket, uniforms, instruments, hats, or so forth.

Families

Is your family changing too quickly? Let us capture the present day with a fun Family Portrait session. I offer studio and outdoor sessions at affordable prices. Let us create a magnificent gallery wrap portrait for your home.

Family Portraits allow the important milestones of a family’s life to be properly documented. By having a family portrait taken, a beautiful memory is created that is treasured for life. These portraits are handed down to future generations so that a bond is created between parents, grandparents and children. Another reason to have a family portrait taken is that families change – the children at a young age are always changing and will never be the same again as they are now. Document your life in a way that you can enjoy and will cherish with fond memories. Family portraits that hang on walls of a home hold a special meaning that no other type of art or wall decoration can approach in terms of meaning or feelings.

Children

When photographing children it is best that the child be let be a child. Children who are forced to pose & smile will not give you genuine smiles. I like to start by getting to know your children & work with them so that I can get the genuine expressions. In no time you will see their personality shining and you will have images that you will treasure for a lifetime.

Seniors

Teens are the most fun to photograph. They are eager to get through their Senior year and head out into the world. Be sure to schedule your Senior session in your favorite season, if you have one, so that your portraits are just what you want them to be. I will send you an informational packet that goes more in depth of what to bring and what to expect.

Corporate Portraits

Nothing is more important than a first impression. Corporate headshots are often a company’s most important client-facing marketing tool. These photographs showcase the “people side” of your business. A potential client’s decision to do business with you will often be based on the sense of your competence, professionalism and demeanor.
